Position Summary

Saigon A.I. is seeking a motivated Data Science Intern on a part-time basis. This internship offers hands-on experience working on real data science projects. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and have strong analytical and programming skills.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management

Assist in collecting, cleaning, preparing, and transforming raw data into structured formats suitable for analysis and machine learning models.

Exploratory Data Analysis

Uncover patterns, trends, and insights through EDA, contributing to AI-driven solutions by preparing datasets for model training.

Dashboard & Report Development

Create visually compelling dashboards and reports to communicate data-driven insights effectively.

Documentation

Maintain clear, reproducible documentation of processes, methodologies, and findings.

Continuous Learning

Engage in self-directed learning to deepen understanding of data science principles, algorithms, and best practices.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a passion for continuous learning.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team.

Experience in data cleaning, preprocessing, transformation, and feature engineering.

Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow).

Understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.

Proficiency in Python; experience with Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, or eCharts; and Git for version control.

A Plus

Familiarity with automations, LLMs, or data engineering.

Familiarity with the mathematics behind the algorithms.

Ability to implement an algorithm from scratch without using packages.

Working Hours

Monday–Friday, 8:30AM–6:00PM. Flexible hours determined by availability. Part-time commitment required.
